How old double eyelid adhesions are released
We release the old adhesion, dissect the surrounding tissue and then create a new line, reducing tissue damage during dissection.

STEP 01 Releasing the faulty adhesion
To create a new double eyelid line, the adhered portion of the existing faulty double eyelid must be released delicately while minimizing tissue damage.

STEP 02 Delicate dissection wider than the existing range
The key is to dissect more widely than the adhered area. This creates a clearer, more natural double eyelid line.
When is the best time for eye revision?
Eye revision is usually recommended about 6 months after the first surgery, once the scar is soft and the redness has faded; if there was inflammation, it must fully subside first. In some cases surgery is possible only after 1 year, and if results are poor right after surgery, a quick revision within 2 weeks is advisable.

6 precise analyses before surgery
Because even small differences can change the eyes' image greatly, surgery must follow a thorough, detailed analysis to achieve a good result.

Facial proportion analysis

Eye shape analysis

Eye spacing and length analysis

Epicanthal fold and outer corner analysis

Ptosis and pupil analysis

Analysis of muscle and fat around the eyes
Eye revision tailored to each symptom
It is important to carefully analyze why the previous eye surgery failed, compare it with your current condition and draw up a suitable design and surgical plan. We reflect your opinions and work to deliver a satisfying result.

When the double eyelid has come undone
A weakly fixed double eyelid line can come loose over time. We redesign the line, remove fat if needed and fix it firmly to lower the risk of loosening again, preserving as much eyelid skin as possible.

When a thick double eyelid creates a "sausage eye" look
This happens when the line was set too high on eyes with thick skin and much fat. We lower the fold and remove fat, or enlarge how much of the pupil shows to reduce the height, creating a thin, slim line.

When the double eyelid is too thin and low
This happens when the line was designed low, came undone or the skin sagged. If skin covers the line, the loose skin is removed.

When the shape of the double eyelid is asymmetrical
Everyone's eyes differ slightly, but visibly mismatched eyes need correction. A height difference is fixed by releasing the line and matching it to the desired one, and if ptosis is the cause, that side receives ptosis surgery.

When the eyes look smaller than before surgery
This happens when ptosis was not corrected or the eyes are short horizontally. We correct it with ptosis correction or canthoplasty.

When the scar is thick or unsightly
We correct to suit the current condition, such as removing scar tissue or modifying adhesions. When muscle and skin are stuck together, we proceed carefully.

Double crease or sunken upper eyelid
It arises for many reasons, such as protruding eyes, hollowing with age, weak eye-opening strength or a loosened fold. It is corrected with non-incisional double eyelid surgery or combined surgery with upper eyelid fat grafting and ptosis correction.

FAQ: Revision Timing and Method
The actual clinical judgment may vary depending on the course of the previous surgery.
How is the timing of eye revision decided?
It is generally based on about 6 months after the first surgery, but the timing can vary depending on recovery and inflammation. The actual timing is decided at your consultation.
What is the revision method decided on?
We look at why the previous surgery failed, your current double eyelid line, and the condition of the scar and tissue, and plan a method that suits you.
Post-Surgery Precautions
Side effect information: Complications that can generally occur after surgery, such as bleeding, infection and inflammation, may vary in degree from person to person, so caution is needed.
